Riding Wild Update & GoFundMe!

Trip updates for summer 2024 and our GoFundMe launch

Hello Everyone!

I'm thrilled to share the incredible news that all four of our Riding Wild retreats this summer, including the breathtaking Iceland and Sierra retreats, have been completely sold out in less than a week! If you weren't able to secure a spot this year, don't worry – we are pleased to inform you that we will be offering these same unforgettable retreats next summer.

It has been a significant year for our organization, as we have increased our full-ride sponsorships by 50% from last year, sponsoring four local indigenous women to join our retreats with full scholarships this year. By creating a trauma-informed space, we support women in uncovering and embracing their true selves through breathwork, yin yoga, somatic exercises... and of course, a journey through nature on horseback!

“I came back from this journey with new energy and new resources to fight my battles. This journey reminded me how to come back to my body from my mind. It strengthened my ability to listen to myself, and what my needs are. It was also so freeing and nice to be vulnerable without getting judged. I had been so lost and confused before, so I think I will be forever grateful for this opportunity to come at the right time. And I am honesty suprised how much my wellbeing improved after the journey, because I had thought that it would take more time to recover when I reflect on how much I had been struggling. So I will say again, thank you so much! What you do for women is beautiful!”

Fuel Our Ride! - Our New GoFundMe

For those who are inspired by the impactful work we are engaged in and are eager to contribute to our efforts in sponsoring BIPOC and indigenous women in the regions we ride (like Sikkersoq!), we warmly invite you to participate in our current fundraiser. Whether you are able to donate $5, $10, $20, $50, $100, or $1,000, every amount, no matter how small, will make a substantial difference and help propel us forward in our inaugural year of operation.

Our Offerings

AN INWARD JOURNEY

On an expedition, a compass and map is used to navigate the environment, but what happens when we let the living intelligence of horses and nature become our guides on a journey inward? As we deepen into presence we find our internal compass of intuition, and follow the map home into our deepest most connected authentic selves.

MINDFUL RIDING

Mindful riding is the practice of riding in a state of meditation through developing a present connection of mutual trust with your horse.

EQUINE GUIDED EMPOWERMENT®

Equine Guided Empowerment® is a unique Somatic Reprogramming® practice developed by Cassandra Ogier. This practice provides an opportunity to ground and discover your true nature through the reflection of horses.

INTEGRATIVE BREATHWORK

The practice of breathwork is a journey of cultivating awareness in the body through the presence of breath. Practicing breathwork allows the body’s natural wisdom to cleanse, heal, and re-center the nervous system.

SOMATIC YOGA

By slowing down and synchronizing breath with movement, this integrative practice assists in letting go of physical, mental and emotional stress.
