The Far Reaches of Patagonia
Join us on a breathtaking 5-day horseback journey along the stunning fjords and highlands of Patagonia.
This February, we’re setting out on our first ride through one of the most remote and breathtaking regions of Patagonia — a five-day horseback journey across fjords, forests, and the high valleys of Última Esperanza.
We begin by crossing the Last Hope Fjord to reach the Antonio Varas Peninsula — a wild stretch of coastline shaped by cliffs, lenga forests, and working estancias where sheep are still moved on horseback.
From there, we ride north into the Patagonian Highlands of Sierra Baguales. It’s a land of fossil beds, raw silence, and wide open sky. For the final nights, we’ll stay in heated mountain domes — warm and quiet in the middle of nowhere.
Throughout the trip, we weave in practices to help you drop deeper into the rhythm of the land and your horse — yin yoga, yoga nidra, and breathwork by the fire, with time to rest, reflect, and reconnect.
Joining us is talented photographer Lena Bam, whose adventures around the world informs every breathtaking image she captures — quiet, grounded, and full of presence.
Spots are limited for this February’s Patagonia ride.
Our Wild Horse Ride in June 2026 is filling fast!
This journey takes place in the ancestral lands of the Numu (Northern Paiute) people, where wild horses still move freely across sagebrush valleys, and wide open sky. We’ll be joined by two local Numu women who share stories, knowledge, and lived connection to the land and its deeper history.
We travel alongside seasoned horsewomen trackers through remote, wind-shaped country, following the quiet traces of the wild mustangs. This is a ride that invites listening — to the land, to the horses, and to those who have known both far longer than we have.
At night we gather and dance by the fire, sleep under stars, and carry the day’s dust and silence with us into rest.
Few places like this remain. Even fewer are offered with this kind of presence and care.
We’d love to ride with you,
— The Riding Wild Team
